Who We Are?
While pursuing super specialization two talented ophthalmologists joined forces to create what would be known as Lucknow Eye Centre. Dr. Anupam Purwar a cataract and Glaucoma expert with decades of experience and Dr. Rajesh Sahay, a knowledgeable and talented Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon are the visionaries behind this establishment. After years of singular practice and becoming known names in the community they decided to restore sight of the most needy and disheartened parts of the society.
Working together since 2007 the doctors have treated multiple cases deemed to be a lost cause. Passionate about their profession, complicated cases are challenges they refuse to let win. Their jovial and easy-going nature makes them a favourite among children who earlier refused to step in a hospital. Performing cataract surgeries in record time Dr. Anupam boasts of providing you with the most stress-free operation experience. On the other hand, Dr. Sahay is a master of all ocular surgeries and disorders. The team was later joined by Dr. Anu Tandon who is an imminent clinician and surgeon. Together they make the most complicated surgeries seem the simplest.
The partnership firm was duly set up in March 2007 with initial assets of their eye clinics at their respective places in Gola and Faizabad. The Gola clinic became Gola Eye Hospital and Faizabad clinic became Faizabad Eye Centre, both as units of Umbrella organization LUCKNOW EYE CENTRE. Soon a unit by name Sudama Devi Memorial Hospital opened in Patna as associate unit of LEC. Within two years, the firm won contract to run Eye Department of Shekhar Hospital in Indira Nagar, Lucknow, followed by the Eye Department of SAHARA HOSPITAL, Lucknow.
